Dear Taxpayers,

Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me as your Property Appraiser.  As a homeowner and property taxpayer just like you, I know there are some very difficult, challenging and changing times ahead with regard to property taxation.  Knowing of the difficult challenges ahead, I believe it is important that I see this job through, which is one reason I have decided to offer myself again for re-election as your public servant. 

As your Property Appraiser, I’ve found ways beyond the scope of my job to limit property tax systems that abuse taxpayers.  I’ll never give up the fight to cut the amount of tax money government deceitfully seeks to collect from hardworking people.

In these tough economic times, government needs to do what every family in America has to do: cut the fat and control spending.  That is exactly what I have done with my office, reducing 19 full-time positions and spending by 12% over the last 2 years.

If given  the privilege and honor to serve you for another term, I will continue to fight for taxpayers' rights.
